Overview
Salary: This is a voluntary position; reasonable travel and training expenses will
be reimbursed.
Location: London & remote
Hours: Approximately 8 hours per month including regular board meetings (approximately every 8 weeks, but at least quarterly)
​
The Trustee Board collectively needs skills and experience in the following areas:
- Young people’s empowerment, and a thorough understanding of issues causing young adults to face disadvantage and barriers to employment
- Financial management, income generation, fundraising and enterprise;
- Relevant legal frameworks;
- Informed Safeguarding: policies and practises
Previous board experience is not a requirement, nor is any level of seniority in any given industry – WK Foundation hopes to benefit from the insights of Trustees from all walks of life.

SEASONAL EVENTS PIZZA CHEF/DRIVER

Personal requirements:
- pizza chef / background in food (we will offer full training for the right candidate)
- well organised and great communicator
- experience in events or comparable context
- confident driver, willing to drive multiple vehicles including vans

Job Responsibilities:
- General chef duties including all stages of pizza making
- Health and hygiene on events (level 3 training provided)
- Self starter and able to work alone as well as part of a wider team

Seasonal Events Manager​

Overview
Rate: From £13.75 - £15/hour depending on experience
Freelance contract basis
Location: Mostly London, some out of London work
Duration: June - early September
Hours: 30-40/week
Availability: Weekend and evening work are a key part of this role!
Main areas of responsibility:
- Manage our events from start to finish, including overseeing staffing inc some team recruitment where needed.
- Drive events set-ups to events, manage/ oversee event (can be both solely food service or food service + seated service of larger events), set up/pack down.
- Liaise with events manager and ops manager for smooth running of all events.
- Liaise with our team to ensure all food orders are placed in a timely way.
Requirements:
- Confident driver with full UK licence, experience of driving vans/ larger vehicles is a bonus.
- Experience of organising, planning and project managing events from start to finish.
- Experience working with teams.
- Excellent communicator.
- Full availability from June-early September.
- Some experience in hospitality events.
